My Culinary Journey

My journey as a personal chef began in 2007, serving professional athletes, their families, and clients with therapeutic and wellness-focused dietary needs. From the very beginning, my philosophy has been clear: food should nourish the body, support well-being, and bring comfort and enjoyment to everyday life. As a graduate of the San Jacinto College Culinary Program and a Certified Personal Chef, I built my foundation on skill, intention, and genuine care.

Reimagined for today’s table, my career spans more than two decades of culinary service and leadership, with a strong concentration in senior dining and nutrition. I spent three years as a personal and private chef, followed by five years as an Executive Chef and Dining Director in upscale senior living communities—where my passion for dignified, resident-centered dining truly took root. Over the next eleven years in executive foodservice leadership within senior living and healthcare, I refined my expertise in nutrition, operations, and team development. More recently, I have added two years of culinary instruction, continuing to teach, mentor, and create meaningful dining experiences rooted in wellness and respect.

Reed Personal Chef Services represents a full-circle return to hands-on service—combining decades of culinary expertise, leadership, and compassionate care into a highly personalized experience.  Every client relationship is intentional, consistent, and thoughtfully tailored.

Through this work, I have the privilege of serving individuals and families who value trust, continuity, and personalization, creating meals that support health, preserve independence, and elevate daily living. Each dish is prepared with purpose, honoring wellness, flavor, and dignity at every table.
